Ronya Banks
I continue to live a life brewing with diversity and new experiences. I was born an American citizen in Kuwait to an American mother and an Arab father. We moved to the United States when I was five years of age.
I’ve since lived in four different U.S. states, and I’ve also traveled abroad to several other countries. As a result of my varied experiences with different people across the world, I’ve developed the perception that all human beings are similar in that we all have the same basic desire to be acknowledged, loved, and appreciated.
I love wearing several varied hats in that my life roles also include being an entrepreneur, mother, mentor, writer, and teacher. I’ve earned college degrees in both Computer Programming and Psychology.
My professional work experiences ranges from having worked in the computer industry for IBM in New York to opening, owning, and overseeing the operations of several small businesses.
I received my initial Coaching and Facilitating training from a transformational training center in Raleigh, North Carolina, where I’ve also attended, staffed, and coached extensive leadership and training preparation workshops. I continue to educate myself daily.
A near death experience several years ago motivated me to shift my life paradigm from one of survival and being reasonably happy to one of passionately living each day as though it were my last. Part of living each day as though it were my last, includes my overwhelming desire and uncanny ability to guide others to their greatness. I am committed to motivate others to live a “Life Worth Living”;
