Alberto Polloni

 Born and raised in Chile, Alberto initially studied architecture and then perused his undergraduate BA degree in the field of Furniture & Interior Design from the University of Chile. After graduation, he then formed a commercial interior design company in Santiago, Chile and then, five years later, founded Muebles Dhomo, a contemporary furniture design and manufacturing company.
In 1983, shortly after selling his interest in Muebles Dhomo, Alberto then moved to Italy to study Corporate Identity Design at the Universita Internazionale Di Firenze. In 1988, he moved to USA and initially worked for Raleigh based architectural company prior to the time he formed Polloni Design in 1994. Alberto became a US citizen in 1993.
As noted above, Alberto is bilingual in both English and Spanish and is also fluent in Italian and French. He’s also an accomplished artist who paints with watercolors and draws “life” scathes in pencils. Alberto has also developed skills as a professional photographer and has won several awards.
